Clear information is hard to get by on how the end of support will affect server and apps. As Server should continue working, can i apply this to apps as well?

Hello there @Jakob Köhler (Extern)  and welcome to the Atlassian community!

Yes, you will be able to use the apps that you already have installed, but you:

  • Won't be able to update the existing apps to the newest version
  • Download any apps from the marketplace
  • Won't get the security updates which is a risk here of having a data breach
