I am not clear even after reading posts on this forum of how to control users ability to edit entries on a from.
For example, what I want is that
Normal Users can view everything in table view but should only have edit/delete privileges for their own entries made on that form. How exactly (and I use the word exactly because some answers are quite vague in this forum) do I set that up?
Super Users can view and edit/Delete everything. How do I setup a Super User without giving them EDIT permissions to the actual page itself
Sorry, I am a first time user of Confiforms but I am getting there!.
Hi @Barry Smyth
Welcome to Atlassisn community and happy to see you starting with ConfiForms app!
Cool. This page explains the permissions model used in ConfiForms
https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Confluence+page+permissions+and+ConfiForms
But to keep the story short, you will just need to restrict edit permissions on the page to achieve what you have asked (allowing only certain people to edit the page). Or by adjusting the super users / form administrator parameters in ConfiForms Form Definition macro
