We are currently using R4J version 4.6.2-3-jira8 on JIRA version 8.17.1.

If we update to JIRA 9.8.1, will we be able to use our existing functionality if we are using R4J 4.6.2-3-jira8?

Currently, R4J usage in our organization is not high enough to justify purchasing a new version.
I am a user who has been using R4J well.

I don't want to use the new features in R4J recent version.
If I do use it, are there any areas where I might run into critical issues?

Hello @ujkim ,

I´m Bernhard, the product manger of Ease Solutions, responsible for R4J. Thank you very much for using R4J in the past, I hope I can help you to use it in the future.

Please not, R4J version 4.6.2 is officially not support for Jira 9.8.1, it´s only released and tested up to Jira 8.21.1. So we strongly recommend to upgrade to latest version.

Please see our release notes of all the great new feature you would miss out and the upgrade steps.

We would like to know your limitations and restrictions on going for latest version 4.15.0. Please contact our friendly service desk for any further help.

Best Regards, Bernhard
