Can I create traceability matrix in R4J by using Zephyr for test cases?

Hi I am using Zephyr for Test Cases and planning for R4J implementation, So first thing comes in my mind that how can I add Test Cases for Traceability in R4J because its not having issue type in Zephyr?

thanks for your question. I´m Bernhard from Ease Solutions, the vendor of R4J.

To our knowledge, Zephyr uses web links between Zephyr test cases and Jira issues (e.g. requirements). The R4J traceability supports all kind of Jira issue and Jira issue linking, web links are not in scope. So you would not be able to show the relation in the R4J traceability matrix.

Hello @Shilpi Saxena ,

for R4J on Jira Data Center you can simply click on the "Traceability" button top right in R4J. Please see Youtube and our documentation.

If you are using R4J for Jira Cloud edition: There is currently no traceablity matrix (it´s in development), but you can use the coverage view. This view servers the same purpose, but allows you to have much wider purpose. Please see the documentation. You could check out the video from the Data Center edition, it works quite similar.
