I am currently playing with sample data in BigGantt, agile project.
I have tasks in an epic. I want to be able to move the tasks in the epic and for the epic's start and end date to automatically update. This seems to be happening on the summary tab, but not in the Gantt chart.
I have tried auto-bottom up scheduling, and sliding the tasks in the Gantt chart does update the start and end date of the Epic; this change is however not represented on the Gantt chart, only in the summary. I thus end up with two different start and end dates. I can manually reschedule the Epic by clicking on it (Parent issue time period doesn’t match its subtasks periods. Reschedule this task), but I am looking for an automatic way for my start and end dates to synchronize between the summary and Gantt chart.
I feel like this should be possible, but I cannot figure out how to do it... Is there any way?
