<About My Client>
My client which is a leading digital transformation consulting firm headquartered in Canada. They expertise in digital strategy, user experience & design, data analytics & software development etc. Their client portfolio is mostly MNC and local corporate.
<Responsibilities>
- Handle the development, administration and support of JIRA and Confluence.
- Take responsibility on full SDLC (requirement gathering, analysis, design etc.)
- Customized plugins or scripts development accrdoing to clients' needs
- Implementing business process workflows in JIRA and Confluence,
- Promote best practices while advising teams on how to get the most out of the Atlassian tool suite.

- Work with Atlassian Experts and world class clients
- Develop your consulting and client facing skills
- Create best practice material based on typical type of customer needs
- Consult and educate on adoption and usage of the product, including changing work methodology
- Create, administrate and modify product as needed
- Gather requirements from customers to recommend best practice configuration and setup of confluence such as:
- Information architecture (Best use of space/pages given the customer’s goals and requirements)
- Governance and security standards
- Which templates to use and how; Recommend and update templates based on customer needs
- Determine and recommend customer processes for use of Confluence and JIRA (using Confluence to JIRA connector)
<Qualifications>
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence and BitBucket in a Scrum development environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must have experience in JIRA 6+ environments or be knowledgeable of newest features and functionality
- You have scripting experience and have extended JIRA beyond its out of box capabilities using Groovy and/or Atlassian REST API's
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian Cloud, Atlassian server and Data Center versions
- Demonstrable experience with doing cloud and server migrations, as well as competitor migrations to the three different Atlassian platforms
- Ability to merge/consolidate multiple instances
- Ability to upgrade from older versions, and walk teams through the process
- Familiar with adding and using Macros and other confluence add-ons
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills with consistent attention to detail
- Ability to clearly write technical documents
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
