Roles & Responsibilities
- Active monitoring with no compromising on the health of products (JIRA, Confluence) to achieve the defined service availability.
- Troubleshooting and identifying key performance bottlenecks and find the corresponding solutions and define the measures
- Orchestrating the deployment process in case of upgrades for JIRA, JSD and Confluence.
- Plugin/Add-on management and updates.
- Collaborate and engage with internal product team in prospects of Operations.
- Collaborate and connect with Atlassian and/or other vendors, who supplies Add-On / plugins, in case of product issues.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting production issues using thread dumps, heap dumps, log analysis tools like Splunk, JAVA melody etc.
Qualifications:
- Min. 5+ years of experience in IT industries with at least 3 years’ experience in operations of Java applications
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting of Java applications using thread dumps, heap dumps, log analysis tools like Splunk.
- Experience in operating Atlassian products.
- Experience in performing upgrade, plugin compatible checks / evaluation for JIRA, JSD and Confluence.
- Good experience in Linux environment and GIT
- Knowledge on various tools like AppDynamics, Java Melody and Splunk
- Knowledge of Java garbage collector can be a plus.
- Experience in Gradle, Ansible and shell scripting can be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field, such as computer science, information technology, engineering or related discipline
