To support WPP’s vision, WPP IT must transform and modernize our ways of working, build out new capabilities that will be shared across the group, as well as digitize and re-imagine the experience and service wrap for our colleagues and clients.
Making that vision into a reality for the Developers and teams supporting them across WPP, is the goal of the DevOps Tools Platform team. This team will architect, manage, and provide support for the tools that enable Development Operations across WPP.
We’re looking for a DevOps Platform Architect with strong business analysis and support skills to join and help build out this function. With such a diverse set of teams across WPP who would consume our services, and with the technology landscape as wide and varied as it is across WPP, the right candidate will need to have a strong technical grounding and a desire to help teams implement best practices with a variety of products. While the tools play their part in success, they won’t do this alone. We’re also helping to improve the culture of development within and between teams, so strong communication skills are a must. You will support a mix of migrations, consolidations, integrations, and ongoing support.
This role will work closely with WPP’s agency teams to help understand business requirements and translate these to efficient processes utilizing the suite of tools, while also helping the wider business goal of more secure, consistent, efficient platforms. A variety of training will be provided.
