Sales Solutions Manager (Atlassian) - Tempo Software

As the Sales Solutions Manager, you will own the entire sales life-cycle for our products sold through the Atlassian Marketplace including opportunity qualification, sales discovery, closing strategy and execution. You'll be coaching and mentoring our team of sales consultants and Business Development Reps on sales strategies and providing support throughout the entire sales process along with growing the team as we grow revenue.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a plan to achieve sales targets through trial conversion and expanding current customers through cross sales

  • Lead the Atlassian Product sales team continuously striving to be a world-class,  proactive,  growth-oriented organization

  • Create a high-performance and engaged culture, marked by accountability and connection

  • Be analytically focused and driving to improve KPIs and critical success metrics throughout the complete customer lifecycle

  • Work cross-functionally with RevOps, Marketing, Partner Sales and Solution Engineers to guide internal processes and standards forward

  • Work with Product Management and Atlassian Solutions team to share observations on market need, develop cross selling excellence, and product requirements

  • Forecast and analyze sales performance metrics

  • Understand the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position our products to win

  • Manage, coach and engage the Atlassian Product sales team to create culture of excellence

  • Maintain an individual quota and oversee the team’s attainment of their numbers

 

The Ideal Candidate 

  • You are solutions focused and engage  prospects as customers through a consultative approach

  • You are a builder and driver who loves hunting and farming.  

  • You will be driven to maximizing conversion rates of current Atlassian Products, while identifying cross selling opportunities to deliver more value to every customer.

  • You are very hands on and operational. You take a “player-coach” approach, selling with your team and helping to advance key customer relationships

  • Strong sales coaching skills to bring up team members

  • Experience selling within the Atlassian Marketplace or other marketplace environments

  • 5+ years of management/leadership experience for a new business team in a land and expand model

  • You have a track record of success - exceeding team sales quotas and achieving sales KPIs

  • Natural influencer who can build bridges for cross commercial collaboration

  • Data driven and able to utilize sales inputs to be able to make decisions that improve conversion and overall deal size

  • Process minded and detail-oriented

  • You have experience selling to / supporting markets in time zones outside North America

  • Previous experience launching new products to marketing considered an asset

  • JIRA experience - nice to have
