Hello all!
I don't even know if this is a thing (and my time as an Atlassian admin hasn't led me to believe it is), but does anyone here know of individuals or companies specializing in UX/UI design for Confluence? We are looking for someone to better brand our Confluence internal instance, create page and export templates (to use for external presentations), and general UI design.
I'm an Atlassian admin currently implementing Confluence for our Product department (and entire company) and part of our push is to use Confluence as our intranet. We plan on using Refined for Confluence, but neither I nor my counterpart in Product is a designer and our Marketing department is overwhelmed as it is.
Any advice on where to look would be appreciated!
Thanks Nic, that's actually exactly what I was looking for XD. I wasn't aware that any of the consulting companies did design, so that's perfect! I'll get in touch with your consulting team.
I appreciate it!
Great. If you go via Adaptavist, it will probably get automatically thrown over to Brew when it is first read and if it doesn't, then I'll probably see it and throw it over at that point.
It would probably be quicker to go directly to Brew though - https://brewdigital.uk/ - feel free to name-drop me or at least mention this conversation, so I get brownie points for suggesting them.
I am not a UI UX designer, but:
(this is his profile on the freelance exchange) A good UI UX specialist is overwhelmed with orders and he himself will not look for a customer. This is the market.

Hi
I suggest using the Refined app. I have been used it since 4 years ago, and I have been delighted with it. When I decided to choose an app for a requirement like the one you mention, I evaluated other apps like Birkit and Linchpin, and from my point of view, refined is user-friendlier than others with more hands-on features for achieving this goal. As I adapted to Refined, I didn't check them during these years. Maybe you can change my mind about it.
You just need a designer for designing banners and logos. You didn't need a web programming language for using it. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me here or on LinkedIn.
I've had issues and successes with all the ones I've used - Themebuilder, Refined, Brikit and Linchpin. I'm supposed to love Themebuilder as the "best", as I'm an Adaptavist, and actually I do, but only when you really need a huge amount of power and flexibility, and you have the time and energy to learn how to use it well.
Refined is not quite as powerful, but it really does make it a doddle to theme your Confluence (and JSD for bonus points!), and I'd say it's capable of covering 90% of what people need from a Confluence theme without making you have to code!
Hi @Alex Smith. Nice to e-meet you. Besides custom app development Rozdoum also helps its clients with Marketing, including Jira and Confluence apps, I believe our designer may help you if you are still interested. Best wishes, Tatyana
