We are an ambitious and growing company of 14 people operating from offices in Glasgow. We specialise entirely in the delivery of solutions and services for the Atlassian software suite (e.g. Jira, Confluence). As the only Atlassian Solution Partner in Scotland, we are seeing increased demand to deliver our services to local businesses. These include
- the design and delivery of Atlassian software solutions to meet client needs;
- the development of new Marketplace apps for Jira and Confluence;
- provision of training and support for end-users and administrators.

Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management of high-value customer projects, ensuring that customer expectations are met within budget and agreed schedules.
You will:
- help onboard customers, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to the solutions team.
- formally capture the project goal and guide the project team towards it.
- proactively organise and prioritise workload for projects, ensuring they are adequately resourced to achieve successful outcomes.
- support project team members in understanding and capturing customer requirements ahead of delivery.
- assist project team members with scoping and breakdown of work.
- ensure delivery roadmaps are actively maintained and regularly communicated with all stakeholders.
- manage competing priorities, track dependencies, and mitigate risks across the projects managed.
- actively monitor project progress against budget, time, and customer expectations.
- plan, chair, facilitate, and document key stakeholder meetings.
- actively solicit customer feedback, deliverable approval, and project sign-off.
- ensure project team members respond appropriately to customer feedback and requests.
- escalate project issues, delays and risks as required.
- create and maintain runbooks for processes and tools used for managing projects.
You will gain expertise in using and configuring cutting-edge Atlassian tools, now used by over 180,000 companies worldwide. We provide plenty of enablement opportunities via role-based continuous learning, industry-recognised certification paths, internal knowledge-sharing workshops, and pair programming sessions.
Occasional travel within the UK and Europe may be required in future.
In return for your hard work, New Verve aims to maintain fair baseline pay in comparison to other Scottish businesses in the private sector of similar size. Profitability is a key driver to compensation as a small business, and it aims to reward exceptional effort and results.
Requirements
We need you to have at least 2 years of experience in a consulting, project management, or delivery role. Ideally, you also have strong knowledge of Atlassian products.
We expect you to:

You must have:
- a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle;
- a strong understanding of Agile project management and methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
A solid understanding of the following would be beneficial:
- IT Service Management principles and frameworks such as ITIL.
