Hi all,
Anyone experiencing a blank screen when trying to edit a workflow in diagram view? I am going to try the following with my sys admin tonight -but just wanted to see if anyone else ran into this?
1. Stop Jira
2. Remove the contents of the JIRA Install>/work directory
Do not delete the entire directory itself, just the contents
3. Restart Jira
Clearing the /work directory fixed the issue.

No. Our environment is pretty basic. Xporter/script runner/nfeed are the main add-ons. This just kind of happened out of the blue.

I think that add-ons should be excluded first. Below is instruction provided by @somethingblue here:
The easiest way to determine this is to put JIRA in Safe Mode and see if the issue re-occurs:
- Open the 'Manage Add-ons' or 'Find New Add-ons' page from the application's administration console
- Click the Enable safe mode link at the bottom of the page.
The 'Do you wish to continue?' dialog box appears.- Click the Continue button to confirm the operation.
All user-installed add-ons are disabled and your application now runs in safe mode, as indicated by the message on the page.If it doesn't, re-enable the add-ons one by one until the issue re-occurs and that will be where you'll want to focus.
Let's see if it helps.

Thanks for the info, I will try this.
Just found out when people are editing items from the dashboard, they also get error screens...
Error instantiating webwork.multipart.parser.class: com.atlassian.jira.web.JiraMultipartRequestWrapper(original message: null)
If editing within a project, it is fine. Something screwy is happening in my PROD :/

Hi,
It's said that there may be some problems with permissions:
Check this out

Checked with the sys admin; sounds like permissions are ok.

Wated to try this but the work folder is currently empty anyway? Suggestions?
