Hi.
Me and my colleagues have separate projects in JIRA. One with Kanban, one Scrum and one waterfall. Within our projects we have several projects in the form of tasks and epics. We also have cross over projects that affect us all. We generally have a master epic or task in one of the project that the others link their projects too.
We have two needs;
1) To be able to see progress for an individual project and other linked issues with in multiple projects
2) To be able to have a roadmap with all the three main projects. (all solutions I’ve found so far only work within one specific project to manage projects with in that specific JIRA project)

Jira Portfolio is an agile roadmapping tool and will handle multi-project views well. Depending on your links, it can show dependencies between different projects or hierarchical views down the stack of work.
You can view Portfolio in the Marketplace here - switch between Cloud and Server to see what it offers (I find Server has better Program and Roadmapping views).
Ste
Thank you!
Looks like what I had in mind.
I'll look in to that in depth.
