Operation Edit issue (screen scheme) question

What does this type of operation mean?

On Jira, we are not editing the issue on the new screen. This is the same screen we just click on the input to edit the field, so why is the operation "Edit issue" represented here like a new screen?

It should be a new screen in case we choose the issue and then click on the button "Edit".

But this is not the way of editing an Issue (Task in my case) on Jira.

Could you explain it pls?

Short addition:

the Operation Edit issue and the Operation View issue are the same for me.

Because you can edit the same fields that have been viewed... I describe the Operation type not in the right way I know, but I can't "shape" another way of correlation here.

It would be great to hear from you!

On the first picture those Screens look like something someone created?

On the second picture you can edit what is on the left and on the right can be edited given what roles and permissions you have. It's perfectly normal to be able to edit an issue in many ways and screens.
