Kanban board with swimlanes based on epics add additional section

Hi,

I have a Kanban board with swimlanes based on epics, but I would like to add a dedicated filter to group on top first the tickets with 'cirtical' priority (independent of associated epic) and below all other tickets (with non-critical priority) split by epic. 

in another board I was splitting by component with query filtering each section separately, since I had only a short static list of components, so separating the priotity tickets was simple.

but list of epics is dynamic so this approach won't work. so far I was not able to find a way on how to base swimlanes on epics AND add custom filtered sections. Is this combination at all feasible?

This is not possible if you want the epics to be dynamically available. Otherwise you would need to use Queries as the criteria for the swimlanes and then manually create a query for each epic as an individual swimlane, along with the swimlane for the critical issues at the top.
