Can we make resolution field optional while creating the ticket in Jira DC?
Even if we select any value for eg completed while creating ticket,it shows unresolved when ticket is created

The Resolution should only be set when the issue is transitioned to a "done" (green) status.
When the Resolution field appears on a screen a value must be selected. You can't make that field optional.
Why do you want to set the Resolution while the issue is being created? What problem are you trying to address with this implementation?
