Have two default assignee depending on issue type

Christopher Laurence April 29, 2021

Is there a way to have two different default assignee in a project for different issues. The example would be any bug type will be assigned user A and any requirement type of R4J will be user B.

Dear @Christopher Laurence ,

yes you can do, for example with components. Define one for BUG and one for R4J. Add a component owner and configure as default assignee.

Then when an issue is created and a component is selected, the issue is somehow "auto-assigned".

@Thomas Deiler That seems to work is there a way to default the Component to be BUG when the issue is created?

Thanks!

Dear @Christopher Laurence ,

unfortunately not. This could probably be done by some (conditioned) post-processing scripts. But just with add-ons / apps.
