Error connecting to database Unknown system variable 'default_storage_engine' : Mysql

Hi I am trying to configure Mysql database in JIRA facing connection issue. Below are the details







# Disabling symbolic-links is recommended to prevent assorted security risks








Mysql version: 5.1.73

JIRA  version: 7.3.2

Below is log file error

Have a closer look at how you have used - and _ in your posted mysql.cnf

Are you using MySQL 5.7?

Ok, are you using Atlassian configuration tool yo setup the dbconfig.xml?

Can you post the dbconfig.xml file?

This is first time I am installing Jira, I am trying in setup wizard.


This widget could not be displayed.

I have the same error, even when replacing - by _ in my.cnf
