Cross site scripting issue while consuming JIRA REST web service

Question

Hello, the following document Create a site backup in the Notes section it mentions:

"if your source site includes other applications in addition to Confluence, the cross-application links in the site, such as links to a source file page or to a JIRA issue, will point back to the corresponding location after the import."

Does this mean that if you restore Jira to your newly created and imported Confluence instance, the links in the new Conluence instance that would point to issues in Jira will still point to the old cloud instance or the new one?

Correct, it would simply follow the existing links.  Setting up a new Application Link in the site would not resolve this.
