Asterisk symbol does not display on mandatory fields in Jira service Desk portal.

Hi Team,

In Jira service desk create page Asterisk symbol does not display for mandatory fields. its showing only Optional.

1. In Jira service Desk, they don't have feature. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-1302

2. Tried with Field validator in workflow,(workflow essesntial for JIRA) addon, its not working on customer portal

3. Tried via webresource in css and javascript. But i have 100+ fields in my portal. i have to add css for 100 fields class name in the file.

So i can't rely on this way We are looking for other possible solution. Please suggest.

We installed the

Workflow Essentials for Jira

but still no luck. Can you please help us with the steps to achieve this?

Hi @pokalav ,

as you've said it's currently not possible to mark required field with an asterisk on JSD portal fields. Possible solutions involve paid addons :

* Workflow Essentials for Jira

* Portal Styler for JSM
