No this is not possible OOTB. you can add up to 3 fields displayed in ‘second-line’ format of each card.

You can take this information in the board configuration.
When going to the Scrum Board and in the Board settings, click on "Card Layout".
A field selection bar will appear, indicate the field you want to show on the cards on the board and click ADD. When you come back to the board, each issue will show the field data you configured in the card layout.

I also desperately need this feature. I understand that I can add this as an additional info on the card, but not as a column which I can filter/sort by.
Does JIRA have something like an Idea Log where we can login these ideas to be picked up in next development cycles? This would be a game-changer feature for my organisation and how our POs manage and prioritise their backlog.
