3. Please remove the done icon when transitioning to To Do status.

Have you looked at the Post Functions and properties of the workflow?

The check mark on a sub-task indicates a resolution which is different than the status. It doesn’t care what the status of the task is. If a resolution has been set by something, and then never cleared as you transition to other statuses, that could be a reason why the issue appears to have the check mark.

To confirm, check if there is a resolution on the Checked task. If you need more guidance, make sure to include the Post Function associated with the various statuses in your workflow.

I don't have any authority over jira.
(I can't change options in Jira)

Who should fix this problem?
1. Client? (My company using Jira)
2. Developer? (The company that made Jira (atlassian))

I don't know who to talk to about this.
1. Should I tell my company that uses Jira to fix it?
2. Should I tell the company(atlassian) that developed Jira?

You will have to get in touch with whoever is the Administrator of the Jira environment.  They are the only ones who can investigate and change the configuration if it is set improperly.

Good luck!

Thank you.

My company purchases and uses jira from atlassian.
If I have to contact my company to resolve this issue, I guess I'll have to check who the person in charge is.
