JQL Search - Can the pop up suggestions be edited/Changed?

In JQL search, you get syntax suggestions for known words, in my case, status. Is there any way to affect what options users get in the search?

The exact case I'm dealing with is that when users search for issues of status Canceled, they get two status suggestions: Canceled and Cancelled (two 'l's').

If I look at the 'status' overview in jira admin, we only have 'Canceled' and that is the one we'd like to use. 978f4b64-2070-4a0d-8afe-39faf5f44d9b.png Is there any way to remove the 'Cancelled' status from the suggestions in JQL search?

Hi @Helga Tryggvadóttir ,

Request you to please check your list statuses. @

<your jira url>/secure/admin/ViewStatuses.jspa

May be your jira admin would have been added, one more status with name "Cancelled"

Hi Sreenivasaraju,

that's not the case, in our ViewStatuses.jspa there is no status "Cancelled" - that is why I would like to remove it from the jql suggestions.
