How do I set custom filters as default in the issues tab in my Jira Work Management project?

Hello! I am struggling to find a way to save custom filters on my Jira Work Management project. I have a saved/starred custom filter that I was to make the default filter or at least easily accessible with a click. However every time I set this filter leaving the page will revert to the default.
How do I ensure this filter stays?
