Can't delete issues in my project

Hey, everybody.
I have a problem - I can't delete issues in my project. I used to fix it by giving the right roles, but now when I try to give myself a role where I can delete issues, I get an error. Can you please tell me if this is some kind of update in Jira or if I'm doing something wrong? Why was I able to do this before and now I can't? Maybe someone has encountered this and knows how to solve it in a free plan? Thanks!

Tested this on my site too, seems like the Free plan doesn't allow User Role modifications for Jira Work Management, but Jira Software does.

Project permissions, roles, and issue-level security aren't customizable in Jira Work Management and Software Free
