Hello.
I have a problem integrating Jira cloud with Enterprise architect using pro cloud server. Enterprise Architect shows the message : "External Data (Jira - Jira_dos): No sub-menus returned for Jira_dos".
It shows the jira providers, but it does not show the starred filters configured in jira.
I would be grateful for any help

Hi @Rafael

You can check with Pro Cloud Server support for the issue, but still, you can try the following:

  • Double-check that your Jira filters are properly linked and synced with EA
  • Make sure Pro Cloud Server is set up right to fetch the filters
  • Check if the Jira permissions for Pro Cloud Server are all set up correctly
  • Verify that your Jira API and Pro Cloud Server versions are compatible

Btw, I am curious, why are you going for a Pro Cloud Server based sync? As your data will grow, it might impact the performance and can slow down the sync. error handling is not much clear, which makes it harder to figure out what went wrong quickly. Also, customization options are somewhat limited, especially when dealing with complex Jira workflows or filters [derived from community feedback also].

 If you want to sync Jira and EA bidirectionally at large scale, with robust error handling (detailed error logging) and a more intuitive setup, you can look for enterprise sync tool, where you can easily configure what fields need to be synced with advanced options. Plus, sync attachments/images, relationships and retain the rich text field content. You can also perform the conditional/selective sync, just by doing one simple configuration in the tool.
