enable software project

hi,

im using jira software 8.13.1

how to enable software feature when create new project, because even i click the software icon its only show up for business

Could you please check the following bullet point?

1. Does the account you are trying to create a software project have access to Jira software? (please see here for further information: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/manage-group-access-to-applications-938847042.html)
2. Is your license valid for Jira Software (please see here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/licensing-and-application-access-938846887.html)
3. does your *database*-user have REFERENCES permission on database (just applicable in case you are using MySQL 5.7 or higher as a backend)?

many thanks for your answer, point number 3 solve it. currently im using mysql 5.7.3 so i didnt include references on privileges as tutorial said but after i add the privileges now it work like a charm
