Why was the Version 8.20.20 released?

Hello,

which issues were fixed in the Jira Server 8.20.20 release?
No issues are listed on the release notes page.

Why would I want to install it?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Christoph

Hi @Christoph Monig

As explain in the release not it's some feature / bug fix that Atlassian do not want to share publicly.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/issues-resolved-in-8-20-20-1216973899.html

This bugfix release doesn't contain any public issues. At the same time, it contains internal improvements that are restricted to Atlassian for security reasons.

Hello @Florian Bonniec,

Very good, I somehow missed that sentence!

Many Thanks!

Well if there are security fixes in a release, the minimum communication would be to share them and provide CVE. I can understan to take a few days before publishing them but we are 2 weeks later and still no info. How can we evaluate the risk of being on a previous version is Atlassian isn't transparent on what they fixed
