What is the best way to delegate(or link) local user permissions to AD user? Edited

Dong Park I'm New Here Jun 21, 2021

We are using Jira Software with local directory and we just added LDAP.  We need to delegate local user permission to LDAP user.

So let say local username is "dpark" and AD username is "dwpark".  Both are the same person.  I would like to link these two accounts together so that AD "dwpark" has the same permissions as local "dpark".

What is the best way to do this?

UPDATE:  I think I found the solution.

1.  Disable AD directory

2.  Change local username dpark to dwpark

3. Enable AD directory
