What is difference between Agile Scrum and Kanban projects?

There are various kind of project options available for JIRA

-Simple Issue Tracking

- Software Development

- Project Management

- Agile Scrum

- Agile Kanban

I want understand the difference between using Agile Scrum & Kanban. which one is more reliable to use for team size 20.

The linked article doesn't really spell out the functional differences, which is what was asked for.

I'd love to see details of the functional differences/constraints to enable correct decisions when choosing

  • Scrum projects VS Kanban projects
  • Scrum boards VS Kanban boards
  • Company-managed VS Team-managed projects
  • The impacts of the above choices on the new Advanced Roadmaps/Plans feature

Ideally this would be provided in a comparison table of features, functionality, benefits and constraints.

Such a matrix would be very beneficial for people creating projects before they go too far down the wrong path and end up with a project/board that impedes the teams ability to efficiently manage delivery or a mess to migrate/clean up.
