User unable to move tickets from In progress to another Customised status

A JIRA user part of my team is unable to move tickets from In progress status to another Customised (Ready for Review) status.

My project workflow in JIRA is as follows:

  1. To Do
  2. In Progress
  3. Dev-Complete
  4. In QA
  5. Ready for Review
  6. Done

The user who has Developer Role is able to move tickets from To Do (1) status up until In QA (4) but not to Ready for Review (5) status while all the other users with the same (Developer) role are able to move tickets up until Ready for Review status.

Is there any additional permission or access required to enable to user to move tickets as per the request?

Hi Sheetal,

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

At least the transition In QA (4) to Ready for Review (5) will have a validator and/or condition which is preventing this specific user from executing the transition.

In most cases the individual user is not assigned correctly to the groups and/or roles he/she should be in - but this will clearly show up when looking into the validators and/or conditions.

Please check the workflow with a Jira administrator on your end.
