Subtasks in Next-Gen project?

Robert Whelton December 27, 2018

What happened to subtasks in next-gen scrum projects?

I tried creating a subtask under project settings -> Issue Types, and subtasks are enabled in the Jira settings, but there is still no way to add a subtask to an existing issue within a next-gen scrum project (at least not that I can find).

This is an important feature for managing complex tasks.

Hi Eoin

On 16 August 2019, I received a Jira Software Cloud monthly feature round up which included a graphic showing tasks showing up under epics in on the Roadmap. I have created child issues to these epics but cannot seem to get them to appear on my road map. Can you advise how to make this happen.

Hi @Robert Whelton,

You can not add a sub-task to an Agility project yet.

Hey @Ollie Guan, do you know when it is planned to be released?

I would also love to know when Subtasks in next-gen projects will be available.
