Hi Community,
we have a problem with the connection between our JIRA server and Slack.
Connection worked quite good. The connection was established by using a Slack user that is now disabled (because he left the company).
Now the connection stopped working due to inactive user on Slack side.
I have not found any option toi simply change the user for the connection.
On Slack side there is no button for changing the connection and all instructions only state new set up (with the green button to install the extension on Slack side). Due to missing option I cannot create new connection with different user.
Is there any possibility to create the parameters manually for other users to insert this on JIRA side?
Thx,
Stefan
Stefan,
I am assuming that you are using Jira Server for Slack. If that is the case you will want to go to Application > Slack in Jira and remove connections that he setup and redo them. This will allow you to connect to slack again. Documentation here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/slack/using-jira-applications-with-slack-966662163.html
