Is it possible to show issues in the Agile Board without creating a sprint? Currently, we are working on a project where we are not creating sprints buts would like to use the board to view open issues. Is there a way this can be done without starting a sprint? Thanks.
Unfortunately not as this is not the intended use of the Agile method.
However, this is what Kanban specializes in. While you won't have the "Plan" function, you will see your query of desired issues displayed on the board. So, you could even use a similar query to what you're using on your Agile board when you create a Kanban board to view these issues that aren't yet in a sprint. Simply amend the query with "Sprint is EMPTY" to display issues not assigned to a sprint.
