Hi,

We have JIRA Service Desk installed (50 users). SEN-9985916

Afterwords, I installed JIRA Software (10 users) - SEN-9969209 (obr file) and when I install JIRA Portfolio (10 users), I get a license violation error.

I know that always the highest number of licenses counts, but Portfolio is an add-on on Software so I thought that it didn't count.

Is there a workaround ? Can I install JIRA Software & Portfolio on another server and afterwards do an application link ?

Thanks

Mathieu

The licence for an add-on must match the highest tier application you have.

You've said you have 50 Service Desk users and 10 Software users.  That means your licence for add-ons must be for 50, as that's the highest tier.

Separate servers could work, but you'll be lacking in functions linked to SD.
