Can anyone help me with the Task workflow
Story workflow works for me but I need to modify only the Task workflow
Hi Rakesh,
Welcome to Atlassian community :)
Yes, you can create separate workflows for issue types.
For all these tasks you need jira administrator rights.
First, create workflows as you have the process and then create Workflow scheme.
Once you are done with workflow scheme then edit it and add the workflows to this workflow scheme and then associate with each issue type.
Apply this workflow scheme to the project.

Prayuja
Well, I have done the above @Prayuja Patil but the same first status for stories "to do by qa" is somehow cloned for the task issue type as well as the first one. Then, I change the first applicable status of the task to "to do by dev" and then automatically changed to the first one for the stories, too. Why is this happening? I add the workflow again in my scheme but the same thing happens. I need to have "to do by qa" for stories and "to do by dev" for tasks. FYI, all the other customized by-me statuses are not affected. Any help, please?
Thank you in advance.
