How to remove Release button in Kanban board?

I have a JIRA project without Versions, so could I remove Release button in Kanban board? I am using JIRA 5.2.6 + JIRA Agile 6.3.1

It's because you have the administration rights on the project/s displayed in the board. So in order to remove the button you need to remove your project administration rights. Supposing you have system admin rights then you can remove your project level rights and grant these to you only when you need to change something.

Hope it helps.

Hi, this doesn't help as the word is still there, but it's not a link anymore

Any takers? I too would like to be able to do this.
