Happy new year to everyone.
We have two different directory's is integrated to all Atlassian applications (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket).
Old Directory: XXXAD - Jira-Users (Group)
New Directory: XXXAD -jira-users(Group)
Both the active directory's have separate JIRA groups was setup in JIRA application.
All the users have 2 different JIRA accounts like old AD and new AD credentials with other usernames for login details.
The major challenging is all the users are logging to new directory account with their new AD password but sometime the account is getting locked automatically and it is getting impact to their work. We figured out the old directory is causing issues to the entire application.
Previously most of the customer uses old AD to their login details and most of existing data is linked to old AD group.
Here is our goal was to migrate the OLD AD group data to NEW AD without impacting the existing information.
