How to create customized issue view layouts for multiple projects?

O. Funkhouser August 18, 2017

I see that there is a way to change the issue view layout for all projects in JIRA using the jira-view-issue-plugin. However, we need the ability to have different custom issue views for multiple projects in JIRA. Is this doable? If not, is there a new feature request for this capability?

So for example, ProjectA and ProjectB may want their fields displayed a special way. ProjectC and ProjectD may want their fileds diplayed a different way. And the remaining projects are fine with the current view issue layout as it is in JIRA.

Hi,

This may be too simple based on the description you gave but you can create screens and associate them to the projects you want to them to use.  You can find more information about this in Defining a screen.

If there is something more specific you need describe what you're looking for and we'll go from there.

Cheers,

Branden
