Hello @anjali s

There is no direct option to copy a project, the workaround is to copy all the schemas of the source project or share required schemas but in that case make sure any changes to the schema will impact both the projects. Sharing /copying will help you to have same structure.
Few of the schema examples:
Notification scheme
Workflow scheme
Permission scheme etc.

Feel free to ask in case of any other queries.

Thanks

Hello @anjali s

Welcome to the community.

Unfortunately there isn't a straight way to copy a project from the Project Settings.

But there is a workaround.

  • Go to the project you want to copy
  • In the Left Section boards Click View All
    Screenshot from 2023-10-03 12-20-59.png
  • This lists the boards and tickets for a project. This maynot include every tickets under a project if it is a customized board with custom JQL. I'll explain this in the last section.
  • Next Copy the board. Doing this you can copy every tickets that falls under the project board.

  • If your requirement is all of the tickets to move into a new project. do the following:
    • In an existing project create a new Board with this filter query:- Project = 'Project Name'
    • Having this JQL lists every ticket of the project.
    • Create a new Project
    • Now we move the board to your new project.
    • Take reference of above steps to perform the Move Operation.
    • Selecting Move leads you to a new interface where you can copy the board to new project.
