How do I add multiple filters that are already created, to fast filters?

Pernille Kjær Aagaard June 21, 2019

I have a project where it is needed to have various fast filters to create an easy overview of tasks and sub tasks. For this I have created about 20 filters. Is there an easy way to make these filters fast filters so I will not have to manually add 20 fast filters?

Hi Pernille - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I am not sure what you mean by "fast" filters. Do you mean Quick Filters on a Board?

If so, you will need to copy and paste them into each board - I am not aware of any way to bulk load quick filters on a board.

You can also create and save the filters and then simply use the ID of the filter on the boards so that if the base filter changes then all of the boards are updated.

For example, create a filter for project = ABC and statusCategory != Done. Save the filter and then in the quick filter for the board, just type in filter = 12345.

I hope that helps!
