How can I create swimlanes in gen-next project board?

Use the group by option to create swimlanes:
this is not possible at this time in NG projects. You should click the "feedback" link under your profile avatar so that the feature can be considered by Atlassian.
Agreed that this is an option that we are missing. Wish this forum would have a way to up-vote an issue - rather surprising that a company selling agile-enabling software is struggling this much with managing a forum / feature requests
I need it filtered by labels, not Epics or Assignee, so this is frustrating.

I think that next-gen board was not developed for using in a Development Team 🤷♂️
