Auto Populate the Date Custom field

Hi All,

Is there a way to make Jira populate the "Approval Date" field automatically when the sub-task is complete? I need this to be able to report the days it takes to complete the task. If we are asking to enter this date manually there is a room for a human error when selecting the date.

Is this possible in JIRA version 7.3.1.

This feature not exist built-in with Jira.

You can do that with 3rd party plugin.

There are many plugins in the marketplace allow to do that and more.
