I don't understand why some fields can be edited from the kanban board. Example, you can click on an issue and it appears on the far right. Some fields can be edited, while other fields cannot or are not even seen. Then when you open the issue fully, some fields can be edited, and some again cannot until you hit the edit tab.
Does anyone know the difference and how I can set a custom field to be editable either from the kanban board or fully opened issue?

I did some dig and found this request. According to it, seems that only board specific fields can be editable, as mentioned here.
Also, to make the fields editable when you open the issue fully, you just need to make sure the field is included in the Edit screen for the project/issue type (In the issue type screen schemes for the project), and the inline edit will be available for it.
