Add additional Windows server to Jira Datacenter cluster

Ricardo Goncalves November 25, 2020

I'm trying to determine how to add a second server to our self-hosted Jira Datacenter cluster but the documentation I'm finding seems pertinent to Linux based OS's only and we're running on Windows Server 2016 with SQL Server Enterprise 2016.

What I've done so far was creating a server and performed a full install that matches the existing server, however, I guess I need to allow or configure the installation settings to locate the same database as well as the shared storage but I'm not willing to go on guessing as we have lots of users accessing Jira.

This one gives you a good overview and only mentions Linux once, for a suggested config you don't have to worry about on Windows.  https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/installing-jira-data-center-938846870.html
