A connection issue during the creation of subtasks

Hello all.

I have an issue with the creation of subtasks. When I was trying to do it, such a notification appeared: "We couldn't create the subtask. Check your connection, then give another try". I attached a screenshot with it below. Such a message repeatedly appeared during the few days, although I do not have issues with connection.

How can I fix this issue?

Welcome to Atlassian Community. Sorry to hear you are facing this problem.

Checking other similar cases, I noticed that the error message returned when you try to create sub-tasks usually happens when the "Assignable user Permission" is not configured for the "Default Assignee" selected for your project.

That being said, try the following steps and check if it solves your issue:

1 - Logged as a project admin, navigate to the project where you are trying to create issues

2 - Click on Project Settings > Details > Check if your Project Lead is configured as the Default Assignee

3 - In the left menu, select permissions and use the permission helper to check if the Project lead has the "Assignable user" permission, properly fixing it in case he does not have

In case the steps above do not help, I suggest you check the following:

- Check if the same problem happens in a different network or browser
