It's a long story behind it, but the answer here is "do not export the 'time in status' field".

It is not really a field, and it's certainly not one intended for humans to read.  The data in it is encoded in a way that

  • Makes it look like nonsense to humans
  • Is readable by the code in Jira that knows how to show it to humans in a readable format
  • Often contains values that make it look like a (broken) formula, reference or function to a spreadsheet, hence the error message you're fetting

Your options are:

  • Tell the column in the spreadsheet that the content is to be interpreted as plain text (which will be useless to you as it's not human readable)
  • Do some coding in the spreadsheet so that it understands how to read and display the data
  • Write an app for Jira that reads the field and shows another field that can be exported as something your spreadsheet can show and change your export to read that field instead
