How to change the status of an insight object related to an ongoing incident?

Gabriel Viger April 20, 2021

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to automatically change the status of an insight object related to an ongoing incident on Cloud.

I was searching the internet and all I could find was old community articles with dead links to Riada's website.

Thanks :)

Gabriel

Just as Julia Gracia says there is an automation rule for this case called Edit Insight field attributes

I am trying but need to figure out a way to target the asset linked to the incident.

I will make more tests this week and let you know the outcome.

Cheers :)

Hi @Gabriel Viger

You can check the new article 4 steps to get actual statuses on the Jira board.

Hope you find it helpful.

Regards.

Hi Yuliia,

Thanks for the answer but I was referring to an Insight Status type attribute.

Basically, If an incident is created and linked to an object, I want to automatically update the Status (attribute) of the object to "Ongoing incident".

I hope this clarifies what I am looking for.

Cheers :)

Gabriel
