Is it just me or have other people seen the formatting of dates in Jira become diverse?
In the old format view we had our dates as:
dd/Mmm/yy (e.g. 23/Mar/21)
and that format persisted throughout Jira. But now with the same configuration we've got 3 different formats and none of them match the configuration and what we want:
dd Mmm yyyy (e.g. 23 Mar 2021)
yyyy/mm/dd (e.g. 2021/03/23)
mm/dd/yyyy (e.g. 3/23/2021)
Atlassian - the new issue layout is a great idea but needs more work, so please please please ... delay the enforced adoption until it has been properly tested and these basic errors are resolved.
Hello @Mark Wheeler,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
There is a bug in the new issue view where the date settings are not respected. With this said, changing the settings on Advanced settings and Look and feel, won’t make a difference on the new view.
The bug fix is already in progress since we will be no longer supporting the old view starting on March 31.
Please, click on “This affects my team” and also watch the bug to receive the updates.
Kind regards,
Angélica
