How do I link my custom request email?

With Jira Service Management, every service project comes with a pre-configured cloud email address. However, in many cases teams already have a brand email address that customers are familiar with to interact with your service team and open requests.

Jira Service Management makes it simple to link your custom address to start accepting email requests using a bi-directional connection and start leveraging the power of JSM.

Check out this video to learn how to:

  • Link your existing support email to accept requests using a Jira Service Management
  • Enable the correct settings to successfully link a google account - one of three linking options
  • Leverage JSM for logging, tracking, and responding to email requests
  • Understand the agent view of email requests
  • Understand the customer view of automatic notifications when an email request is opened
